Active Abundance & World Seikido
Elizabeth Windover, owner/manager of Active Abundance, started as a student (white belt) in 1991. She progressed through the martial arts ranks (white, yellow, green, blue, red, black) by attending several classes each week. In 1995 she attained black belt level and was assisting other black belts during classes. By 1997, when Elizabeth reached 2nd dan, she was instructing a number of classes throughout the Seikido organization which continued even after attaining her 3rd dan in 2006. Elizabeth became a Master Instructor in 2008 when she graded for, and passed, her 4th dan test. As a Master Instructor Elizabeth shows other World Seikido Instructors how to break down and teach moves so they are easier for students to learn.
Elizabeth tries to compete at the annual John Lemieux Memorial Tournament every year. She has also competed in many other tournaments as a colour belt as well as black belt.
